Visiting troupe unravels Chekov's yarn of four passengers on a train
Chekov's Shorts , performed by Theatre Smith-Gilmour from Canada, is set during a train voyage across Russia, and tells the stories of four passengers.
It will be staged in the Studio Theatre at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre at 8 pm from September 21 to 23. There will be a matinee performance at 3 pm on September 23.
Tickets priced at $150 and $100 (students half price) are available at Urbtix outlets.

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HKPO) will present Peter and the Wolf and other Popular Classics including Brahms' Academic Festival Overture , Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf , Mozart's Flute Concerto No1 in G K313 , and Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra .
All pieces are narrated in Cantonese by Emily Mok and Henry Poon. The performances will be staged in Tsuen Wan Town Hall Auditorium at 8 pm on September 21, and Yuen Long Theatre Auditorium on September 22.
