I WAS buying my stamp at the Peak post office when I heard the postman scolding a Filipina about the size of her parcel.

He had no right to be rude. Dealing with customers is part of his job.
He was, however, very polite to everyone else except the Filipina.
Don't they deserve respect too? He didn't want to serve the woman because he said it was too late. But it was only 4.30pm.
Instead of dealing with the parcel he kicked up a fuss, telling her it was oversize, while mumbling in Cantonese - which I can understand.

He showed no commitment to his job.
