SITE TRAGEDY: Firefighters retrieve the body of a worker who died after being trapped under a 15-tonne bulldozer for about three hours in Kwai Chung yesterday.

Chau Tat-keung, 42, was declared dead at the scene after his body was pulled from under the bulldozer at 5.30pm.

More than 700 pupils and teaching staff from Lee Yat Ngor Memorial School were evacuated at 2.30pm when the bulldozer toppled over on the slope about 20 to 30 metres above the school. They were later sent home.

Police said the primary school would be closed today as workers attempted to remove the vehicle.
