Travis: Live In Hamburg
World, 12.15am
This is meagre compensation for fans who were expecting a Travis concert in Hong Kong, only to lose out to Singapore at the last minute. Watching a 'live' performance on TV is just not the same. Still, this German gig is better than nothing as the boys from Glasgow perform all their popular tunes including Why Does It Always Rain On Me?, Sing and Flowers In The Window.
If you haven't heard of them, Travis started out as Glass Onion. The current line-up of Francis Healy (vocals), Neil Primrose (drums), Andy Dunlop (guitar) and Douglas Payne (bass) moved to London in 1996 and were soon signed to Independiente Records. Three years later, The Man Who was released and snatched best album at the 2000 Brit Awards.
