Dark Angel

Excuse my ignorance, but I didn't know you could get transcripts of television series off the Internet. When David Letterman wants to get a cheap laugh out of an Oprah Winfrey interview, he sends a self-addressed stamped envelope and waits. Now that the Internet has made practically everything accessible, we have transcripts for the entire first season of Dark Angel. I took the liberty of checking out the dialogue in one scene of tonight's episode. Vendor: 'I don't have money!' Mobster: 'Wrong answer.' (Thug grabs Vendor's hand and moves it towards the boiling pot of oil). Mobster: 'How do you like it, regular or extra crispy?' Vendor: 'I have no money!' Gripping stuff. You almost feel embarrassed for the actors who have to utter this tripe. Mind you, Dark Angel is produced by James Cameron, whose films aren't exactly renowned for their powerful prose (recall Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator ). Max Guevara is played by Jessica Alba (above).
The Fugitive

At first, I thought this series would be a bore - every episode would feature the same old chase scenes and narrow escapes. However, each episode begins with a continuation of the previous episode, which works well. Tonight, Dr Richard Kimble (Tim Daly, above) follows a lead from DrRichardKimble.com in his search for the one-armed man.
