A motorcycle is lifted from the roof of an electricity sub-station after a fatal accident in Tsing Yi yesterday. The rider, Leung Ka-hoi, 40, died after he was thrown from his bike, which plunged from a flyover linking Tsing Yi to Heung Sze Wui Road. Leung landed 11 metres below the flyover while his motorcycle fell six metres on to the roof of the sub-station. Leung was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was later declared dead. The accident happened at about 9.30am when the motorcycle went out of control. Police said Leung was tossed off the bike after it hit a traffic sign and lamp post.
