At least 15 seconds could be saved for every southbound lorry passing through Lok Ma Chau after a 'one-stop-shop' arrangement was implemented, officials said. Southbound trucks will have their Customs and Immigration check done at the same time, instead of stopping twice. The one-month trial scheme will provide the service in two of the 24 lanes and be extended if successful.
