Bin Laden's Barbie doll makeover
His turban is made out of an old T-shirt and his beard from a Barbie doll's hair. But the look of the action figure is distinctly that of the world's most wanted man, Osama bin Laden.
Holding a rocket launcher made out of an old ballpoint pen, the figure - a one-off that is not for sale - has been helping attract people to a Mongkok toy and model shop.
The 30cm-tall figure is the work of amateur artist Echo Cheuk Sze-pun, who has also made a model of US Secretary of State Colin Powell for a display inside the shop.
Mr Cheuk insisted there was no political statement behind his toy-making.
'I am against war, so I never like terrorists. But I must admit it has been fun to create bin Laden, as he's been on all the front pages for weeks. The whole world knows this man,' he said.
Mr Cheuk first had to hunt around for a similar-looking plastic doll to create his bin Laden.
'It's not difficult to find a doll with facial features similar to bin Laden's. I looked for a doll of an ordinary Middle-Eastern man with a long, thin, bony face,' he explained.
