La Femme Nikita

This series just gets more weird each episode. Only a few weeks ago, Birkoff (Matthew Ferguson) discovered he had a twin living a normal life on the outside, so it's no surprise that writer Peter M Lenkov wanted to mess a little with Nikita's (Peta Wilson, above) mysterious past. After all, her life prior to her induction into Section One has never been adequately explored. But what Lenkov has come up with borders on the absurd. The fun begins when Operations (Eugene Robert Glazer) and Madeline (Alberta Watson) select Nikita for a new pilot programme. The experiment basically sets her free, but prohibits any further contact with her former life or with Section One. Reasonable though this trade-off may seem, Nikita has her suspicions and things go strange from there. Also stars Roy Dupuis as Michael.
The Amazing Race

What's amazing is some race contestants believe forming an alliance with other teams will increase their chances of landing the US$1 million (HK$7.79 million) jackpot. This game is about one winner walking away with all the cash and everyone else leaving empty-handed so, obviously, it's every team for themselves.
