I WONDER why some Hongkong people are so impatient when they are in a queue.
Last week, during my lunch break, I went to an airline office to get some information.
I joined the queue and a member of staff was very considerate and suggested I take a seat as it would take her some time to serve the customer she was with.
After 15 minutes it was my turn. Since my itinerary was a bit complicated, it took some time to finalise the necessary details.
Suddenly someone in the queue impatiently asked how much longer he would have to wait in the queue and he complained about the lack of efficiency.
Surprisingly, the girl answered him politely and said that she did not know how long it would take, but that it was her responsibility to deal with the requests of all her customers.
