THE Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) would pay close attention to reports of rising corruption among civil servants, Ronald Arculli said yesterday. ''The ICAC had a remarkable year as regards statistics on corruption reports, but statistics alone cannot be relied on to reveal the extent of corruption in any society,'' he said. Mr Arculli, a member of the ICAC's complaints committee and the advisory committee on corruption, said intelligence showed many more corrupt activities were taking place in the government sector.
