While residents in Sheung Shui protest against the building of a mosque next to their homes, 50 elderly Muslim and non-Muslim people live peacefully under one roof in a home run by the United Muslim Association of Hong Kong. Amina Wong, 89, is a local Chinese Muslim, one of the occupants of the home for the elderly in Tuen Mun. 'We do not eat pork and we pray five times a day, that is the only difference between us and other people. We do not do anything that is disturbing.' Chan Mui-ling, 70, has been staying at the home for five years. She has no religion and has no problem with living with Muslims. 'I have my life, they have theirs.'
