An American businessman was yesterday cleared of raping a Filipina after a night out in a Wan Chai bar.

Glade Whinham Poulsen, 47, had denied raping the 20-year-old woman at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel on February 16. The pair met at La Bamba Disco.
