Swim medals galore in colourful carnival

Students saw their tough training schedule pay off in style at a swimming carnival organised by Kwun Tong Government Secondary School recently.

Members of the four houses - Sing, Shun, Kan and Him - gave a spirited performance at the Kwun Tong Swimming Pool.

The events included the 25- and 50-metre freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and the 4x50 m relay.

Chan Shuk-ming became a hero after she picked up several medals.

Simon Wong and Chan ho-sum set new school records, winning the 50 m butterfly in 35.01 seconds and 38.61 sec respectively.

The crowd was at their loudest as Lam Wing-yi, Ho-sum, Simon and Chan Fong-kit of Him House won the mixed open 4x50 m inter-house medley relay in 2 minutes 38.21 sec.
