A DISPUTE has arisen at my school between the principal and a teacher.
Of course, such disputes are not uncommon, but as a consequence of this particular disagreement, the teacher is leaving.
I feel that when such things happen in a school, it is wrong for the students to be kept in the dark about the true nature of the issue. It creates a bad atmosphere in a school and damages the confidence of those teachers who are remaining at the school.We are already suffering from a brain drain, with teachers leaving the profession.
This can have an adverse effect on the academic performances of some students.
When disputes like this arise in any school, all parties involved should consider the students and what effect such conflict has on them.
