A boost in a slow economy

City University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is offering scholarships worth $25,000 to next year's undergraduate hopefuls. They must score at least 15 points either in two A-level subjects or in one A-level and two AS-level subjects, excluding Chinese and English. There is no quota on beneficiaries. Faculty dean Joseph Kwok Kin-fun said the offer was intended to help take pressure off students in the economic slump. For inquiries call 2788 9440.
