WITH ALL THE TALK of an economic downturn, there's still plenty of money being thrown about in some quarters with the recent launch of several new magazines, including the men's quarterly Winners.

Launched at the Cyrano Lounge in the Island Shangri-La hotel, fashion designer Vicky Lam, who recently opened her store Blues Heroes, hobnobbed with PR executive Tansy Lau. Meanwhile, Winners' publisher Lionel Fischer posed with his guests, who ranged from actresses Sharon Kwok and Almen Wong to Starz People modelling agency head Stephen Chau, film-maker Crystal Kwok, industry colleague Audrey Ai and cover boy, Sunny Tsang.
