Those invincible soccer wizards, the Shaolin football team, are back! After defeating the Devils in the box-office hit Shaolin Soccer, the story of the six martial arts 'brothers' is being retold in a new comic book series.

'The story is totally new,' said editor Lam Tze-chung, who played the obese team member in the film. 'We've added two characters: an old master and a seventh brother. The story of Shaolin Brothers is much more comprehensive than in the film.'

At a ceremony promoting the newly launched comic book, comedian Stephen Chiau Sing-chi, the film's director, led the cast in signing posters and novels based on Shaolin Soccer.

'I love Chiau Sing-chi and I started watching his programmes when I was three,' enthused Lee Tin-chau, 10. He waited two hours to get a glimpse of his hero.

'I'm so excited because I can get his autograph, shake hands and have a photo taken with my idol!'

Tin-chau's friend, Chan Faz-faat, is also a big fan of Chiau. Shaolin Soccer is the 12-year-old's favourite film.
