Las Vegas singer Brian Evans' suit against his former landlady, socialite Pamela Pak Wan-kam, has been dismissed.
Ms Pak's partner, lawyer Paul Tse Wai-chun, said he received the news in an e-mail from Mr Evans yesterday.
The case stemmed from negotiations for the sale of a Las Vegas property owned by Ms Pak to then-tenant Mr Evans.
Mr Evans had accused Ms Pak of hiding the fact she had been jailed in Hong Kong - allegedly causing the sale to fall through - and claimed US$19,000 (HK$148,000) for home improvements he had made.
Ms Pak maintained she was innocent of any wrongdoing in negotiations over the US$200,000 house in the exclusive Rhodes Ranch area.
However, Mr Evans said he planned to file the suit for 'failure to disclose and fraud' - again in Nevada.
