We planned our journey to the Hong Kong Coliseum to leave enough time for security checks, which are a matter of course at most large venues and we assumed they would be especially tight now, given the recent terrorist attacks and tightened security worldwide.
We were, therefore, surprised to find that there were absolutely no security checks on entering the stadium. All we had to do was produce our tickets and take our seats. Nothing unusual occurred and everyone enjoyed themselves, but we still find it incredible that the organisers didn't seem to feel the need for any security measures to be put in place.
