'Dr Seduction' makes money teaching men the art of courtship - and spends it on international self-funded tours advocating safe sex.
In Hong Kong yesterday, the Italian sex counsellor and psychologist, also known as Giuseppe Cirillo, dressed the part as he gave away free condoms.
His 'seduction condom' costume is part of a playful approach he believes makes people more willing to overcome their inhibitions about sex education.
'People are curious but people are shy,' Dr Cirillo, 48, said.
Along with condoms, he distributed his eight-point 'condom pledge', which includes a vow to 'put a condom under your pillow every night with a chocolate'.
Dr Cirillo founded the School of the Art of Seduction and Courtship in Rome in 1988 and also teaches in the United States.
But his condom-promotion trips are not money-making ventures. 'I'm probably crazy. It's interesting for me,' he said.
