American Express Bank is to offer a two-month interest-free period for loans covering tax bills. After the two-months, an annual interest rate of 8.8 per cent will be charged under its Flexi Tax Loan programme. Customers can borrow up to three times their tax bill, capped at HK$300,000 or four times their monthly salary. A handling fee of 2 per cent will be applied.
