ACTING Commissioner of Police Hui Ki-on yesterday urged motorists to show patience with elderly pedestrians. At the road safety variety show for the elderly at Tsim Sha Tsui Kai Fong Association, Mr Hui said: ''Hongkong people, especially the elders who have been living in the territory for a few decades, have to get used to all kinds of changes on the road, such as new traffic regulations and traffic control measures.'' Of the 20,000 road traffic casualties last year, 2,000 were people over 60.
