Is 'Law of God' permit enough?

ON the night of July 3, I was accosted by ladies waving a collecting bag marked ''Love Offering''.

This happened by the MTR exit in Chater Road by the zebra crossing leading to Statue Square.

I asked one of the ladies if she had a police permit to collect money in public. Her reply was that ''The Law of God is the only permit we need''. Perhaps the Commissioner of Police, or the relevant authority would care to comment as to the truth of her statement.
