I have lived near Wellcome's Bonham Road supermarket for the last two years and have been concerned with the lack of consideration shown towards residents.
Deliveries of supplies to the store begin around midnight, four to five nights a week. The whole delivery process takes around two hours.
Noisy metal trolleys are pushed across the street to the store, and empty trays are re-loaded. This involves dragging the trolleys noisily across the metal floor of delivery trucks. I am sure readers can imagine how much noise this makes in the middle of the night. I have made numerous complaints to Wellcome's public relations department, but to no avail.
The situation improves shortly after I complain, but this is a temporary respite and the noisy delivery schedule is soon resumed.
