Aithal exits Goldman

United States investment bank Goldman Sachs says it is looking for a regional strategist after losing Anand Aithal.

He had been with Goldman for 12 years, serving in a variety of positions including those of investment banker and fund manager. Based in Singapore, he had been regional strategist for the last two years and was rated 14th in that category in the last year's Asiamoney brokers' poll.

'We are actively seeking a replacement for Anand Aithal . . . We wish him the best for the future,' a Goldman official said.
