I refer to the two letters under the headline 'Children exposed to explicit trailers' (South China Morning Post, November 30), complaining about unsuitable material shown on public buses.
Your correspondent D. A. Taylor made specific reference to Robbie Williams' music video Something Stupid, shown on a bus operated by New World First Bus, on November 27.
Video clips shown on public transport fall within the definition of films under the Film Censorship Ordinance, which is administered by the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority. We also received a number of other complaints about this video on November 27 and 28.
Upon receipt of the complaints, we immediately took follow-up action with the concerned parties, and the music video was taken off the screens by the bus company on November 29.
