I do not see how any cut in the salary of foreign domestic helpers will help solve Hong Kong's economic problems.
We are always an easy target when there is an economic downturn.
Why not look in the other direction at the upper classes and Hong Kong's civil servants who enjoy high salaries and other benefits? Perhaps their salaries should be cut, instead of taking money from domestic helpers.
Perhaps the Government should look for better economic analysts.
