A HONGKONG business consortium has sold a Melbourne university a $36 million share in a central business district building for less than $6 million.
The deal gives the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology 14 floors of the 17-floor Tivoli Court Building, while the building's Hongkong-based family owners will retain the basement, ground floor retail strip and first floor.
