The supervisor of the Canadian Overseas International College, which shut in October, has been arrested on suspicion of theft, police said yesterday.
Choi Wai-fu, chief inspector of New Territories South Regional Headquarters' regional crime unit, said college supervisor Jonathan Goodman had been arrested early this month.
A police spokeswoman said Mr Goodman was released on $10,000 bail but had not been charged. Mr Goodman, 33, is required to report back to police next month.
He is a director of the Educan Scholastic Foundation Ltd, which owned the school. The other two directors are his father, Bernard Goodman, and Terry Lunn.
A total of 381 pupils were affected when the college's three branches suddenly closed at the end of October.
Mr Goodman declined to make any comment on the case last night.
