THREE St Paul's College boys were particularly excited when the Advanced-level examination results came out last week. Michael Cheng Man-tai, Philip Lee Pak-kuen and Tommy Wong Hok-chiu joined Hongkong's elite students when they picked up top scores of four As each.
Tommy's teachers and friends were expecting him to be the only ''four As boy'', but to everyone's surprise, and delight, Tommy was joined by Philip and Michael in the top category.
''Tommy is the best student in class,'' chorused Philip and Michael.
Tommy has been winning the form prize for several years running.
At the A-level, he scored A1s in Applied Maths, Pure Maths and Chemistry, an A2 in Physics and a C5 in Use of English.
In his leisure-time interests, Tommy is like most of his peers. He enjoys playing computer games and reading kung-fu novels.
