13 records tumble at athletics meet

Thirteen records were broken at the 21st athletics meet organised by SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School.

Two of the record-breakers, third-formers Yeung Pui-shan and Lee Ho-shan, summed up the winners' motto, saying: 'Practice and more practice.'

Form Seven student Chau Ling showed true grit when he won the Grade A shotput with an injured wrist. Third-former Wong Hon-leung outshone his rivals with three gold medals. Blue House emerged overall champions at the two-day meet, at Tsing Yi Sports Ground

School council member Alice Yuk stressed the importance of hard work. She said sports helped students become successful.
