Survey asks who surfs the arts scene

Students searching for information on arts-related activities and government grants form the biggest users of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's (HKADC) new Web site, according to a new in-house survey.

Half of the respondents said they browsed the revamped HKADC Web site to look for information about 'HKADC's activities' and 'arts-related information'. Of the 214 users who responded, 43 per cent were students.

The most popular section of the Web site is the Chinese section of the artists' guide, followed by its recruitment page. Other most-visited sections include the HKADC Express.
