A TEENAGER died and three other people had to be rescued when their wooden boat capsized off Stonecutters Island yesterday. Third-former Cheng Kin-shing, 15, who was on holiday and aboard his uncle's boat for a cruise, was trapped in the wheel house when the vessel overturned. After a two-hour rescue operation, he was found unconscious and taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead. The 11-metre boat, carrying two bulldozers, had been heading towards Lantau Island from Tsuen Wan at about 8.30 am when it was overturned by strong currents. Kin-shing's uncle and aunt and the owner of the bulldozers were thrown overboard and rescued by passing tugboats. A relative said Kin-shing had two younger brothers and lived with his parents in Kwai Chung.
