I WAS due to attend a dinner party at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel on July 12. On the way there, I was soaked in a downpour. I am just a student, not a guest, and yet a hotel steward was very helpful, lending me an iron so I could dry my clothes. This is the sort of politeness and helpful attitude that can only benefit Hongkong's tourism industry. PETER TSANG New Territories
