Luxury chocolatier Godiva has a rival on the scene. Judy Hong, whose husband David owns the Swank Shop, has opened a small stand in Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, selling chocolates by 5th Avenue Chocolatier from New York (right). The selection so far consists of filled chocolates, novelty chocolates, white, milk or dark chocolate-covered pretzels (they taste much better than they sound) and truffles. The chocolates are flown in once a week. Valentine's Day selections include chocolate roses and heart-shaped jewellery boxes filled with chocolates.
