A bare stage, five musicians, and one magnificent voice.

Nothing else was needed to make the concert by Portugal's foremost fado singer, Misia, a truly inspiring performance.

It was easy to be enraptured by Misia's presence as she floated on to stage wearing a flowing black cape draped over a long white dress which looked like it came from the world of fantasy (or the hands of avant-garde designer Issey Miyake).

But as soon as she started to sing the melancholic Portuguese ballads, the audience was left breathless.
