Australian courses go-ahead

Australia's Victoria University of Technology and Southern Cross University have received provisional accreditation from the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation for joint part-time and full-time degree courses in business, IT and computer science with a local agent, due to be launched in October. A final confirmation from the council is expected in May. Those enrolled in accredited overseas courses are eligible for Hong Kong Government financial assistance.
