CEO Exchange: Conversations In leadership Pearl, 8.25pm This is a series of specials featuring in-depth, candid interviews with two internationally recognised and respected Chief Executive Officers in conversation about managing issues, organisations and technologies in today's rapidly evolving global marketplace. Each show also reveals the personal side of business as guests discuss some of the intangible values that drive their business strategies and decisions. Each programme is recorded live on the campus of a prominent graduate school of business. Jeff Greenfield, CNN's senior analyst, moderates the programme. The CEOs on tonight's show are Jim Clark (above), the co-founder of Netscape and founder of myCFO, and Thomas Jermoluk, founder of Excite@home , a global media company. This episode was taped at the University Of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Clark and Jermoluk talk about the future impact of the Internet on business and the evolving role of a CEO in the 21st century. A must-see for any budding entrepreneur. The Practice World, 10pm Assistant District Attorney Helen Gamble crosses the line this week when she coerces a confession from a doltish man, Eddie Larson, who killed a woman during a carjacking. Playing on his stupidity, Gamble (Lara Flynn Boyle, above) tells Eddie that George W Bush is bringing back the death penalty in every state and that he will face execution unless he gives a confession. Being accused of coercing a confession, Gamble states that it was a legal tactic authorised by the United States Supreme Court - but lawyer Jimmy Berluti thinks she's lying. MacGyver Star World, 10am Ah, there's nothing like an 1980s television show to make you feel old. Angus MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson, above) is a brainy secret agent whose best asset is his incredible ability to construct weapons and gadgets from the mundane materials around him. Using science and his wits rather than violence, MacGyver can solve any problem. A former Special Forces agent now working for the Phoenix Foundation, a 'think tank' dedicated to righting wrongs and defeating bad guys around the world, he often slips past the enemy's defences and undermines their foul plans with ingenuity rather than brute force, using tidbits of scientific knowledge and ordinary items that happen to be lying around. In this episode MacGyver is on his way out of Bulgaria with a secret microfilm when he meets Penny Parker, an American who is on the run from her Bulgarian security officer lover. She stashes some jewels on MacGyver, thus making him a suspect, and now MacGyver and Parker must flee together. But first they have to retrieve the last piece of jewellery - which is hidden in the security officer's home.
