Hot profits

SHANGHAI Refrigerator Compressor Co has reported net profit of 29.5 million yuan (officially about HK$39.8 million) for the six months ended June 30, by international accounting standards.

For the whole of last year, the company, which was listed in Shanghai in January, registered a profit of 21.95 million yuan.
