Tinted menace

Recently, I was driving along Prince Edward Road, when I was suddenly and dangerously cut off by another vehicle which drove in front of my car.

I had to abruptly brake to avoid a collision.

If I had wanted to report the incident I would not have been able to give a description of this reckless driver, because the car had its windows tinted black.

I thought tinted windows were now against the law in Hong Kong.

Can the relevant authorities confirm, through these columns, if this is so and if so what action, if any, is taken against drivers who continue to drive with these kinds of windows fitted?

Given the reckless manner of the motorist's driving when he cut into my lane in front of me I suspect that thanks to the windows he had poor visibility and probably did not even see my vehicle.
