The boys and girls of New York City's emergency services are kept busy this week when Faith Yokas (Molly Price) and Maurice 'Bosco' Boscoelli (Jason Wiles) are called to the scene of a sexual assault. They find Doc (Michael Beach) and Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar) attending to the badly bruised victim, Bonnie Bryson (Wendy Hoopes), who provides the police with a good description of the perpetrator.
The rapist attacks again, but is distracted by the crying of his latest victim's 14-month-old daughter and flees. Kim (Kim Raver) and Bobby (Bobby Cannavale, above with Raver) treat a superficial laceration on the woman's neck. Over the radio the following day, Yokas and Bosco hear of a sexual assault in progress. The description of the rapist matches those given by the two previous victims. Yokas chases him into a subway station, where he surprises her with a counter-attack, endangering her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Sully (Skip Sudduth) complains when Bosco refuses to respond to radio dispatches that lack excitement or require a lot of paperwork.
