Sun Hei will be going all out to shake off their bridesmaid label as they target their first major trophy in today's Senior Shield final against South China.

Sun Hei came close to putting an end to playing second fiddle to the traditional strong clubs at last year's League Cup final, where they took the lead only to see Happy Valley level during injury-time and kill them off by scoring a golden goal in extra-time.

Sun Hei chief Chow Man-shun said his players were all determined to make amends and believed it was to their advantage that today's match would be played at their 'home ground' - Mongkok Stadium.

'Our team spirit is high and our players are all prepared to give everything they can. We've won a six-a-side event before, but we want to win our first ever major trophy,' Chow said.

'South China has the tradition of being able to do well and has better experience in finals and crucial games. They also have a bigger fan base. That means they would have had the edge if the final were at the bigger Hong Kong Stadium. The Mongkok venue is smaller and we've gotten used to playing there,' Chow said.

Sun Hei's attacks will be led by Hilton Geronimo, who scored seven goals in two the past two games - five in their 8-0 routing of Club and two in their 4-1 thrashing of Happy Valley - and John Moore, while skipper Gary McKeown will play a pivotal role in the mid-field.
