HERE'S good news for Michael Jackson fans who have probably spent the past 48 hours brooding over what might have been. We've had a whisper that officials from Cathay Pacific and FM Select were huddled in discussions yesterday to come up with a scheme to fly a few lucky fans to Bangkok to catch the start of the Moonwalk King's Dangerous world tour on August 25. That's not all. There are also plans to fly Jacko fans to other parts of the region, like Singapore and Jakarta, where their idol will be playing as well. ''If Jackson can't come here, we'll go to him,'' said Metro Broadcast's Fred Goforth. Details are still being worked out between the station and the airline. But the lucky few will in all probability be chosen through some kind of phone-in competition. Stay tuned for further details.
