Suicide jumper lands at woman's feet

A man hit a woman and narrowly missed her two sons, aged eight and 12, when he jumped to his death from a high-rise last night. Police said the man leapt from somewhere between the 26th and 35th floors of a building in Tin Shui Estate and landed at the woman's feet, injuring her leg. The two boys needed hospital treatment for shock, as did an eight-year-old girl who was passing nearby with her parents. Earlier a couple, aged 39 and 40, killed themselves by burning charcoal in their home at Marina Cove, Sai Kung.
