Dicing with death

On three separate occasions last week I narrowly escaped terrifying head-on collisions with other vehicles in the Tai Tam area.

This is not due to me, but because impatient drivers overtook (at horrifying speeds) without thinking about cars coming from the other direction. So many Hong Kong drivers do this. They only narrowly make it back into their lane and just miss hitting you. Tai Tam offers a beautiful and scenic drive. It should be a pleasure.

No one should feel scared to drive along these roads and I would encourage drivers to be patient and consider the lives of other motorists before they thoughtlessly overtake.
