Peeping Tom caught in library to be punished

The Polytechnic University is to take disciplinary action against a Peeping Tom.

The male student used a digital camera to look at the underwear of two female students under a library desk. A university spokesman said yesterday that the part-time engineering student was caught by two librarians on April 15.

'He admitted he peeped at two female students in the library,' the spokesman said.

The university declined to release further details of the student or the two victims.

Its student disciplinary committee has decided to take action against the student as early as tomorrow following a meeting yesterday.

The eight-member committee comprises vice-president Professor Leung Tin-pui and student representatives.
