The proposed eviction of Welfare Handicrafts by the Hong Kong Government from its premises in Salisbury Road is appalling.

As a volunteer for eight years, I have first-hand knowledge of what Welfare Handicrafts means, not only to the Hong Kong community, but to tourists and regular visitors. Many make a point of coming to the shop.
It is a major outlet for products from many organisations, including those employing the disabled.
I urge those responsible for this proposal to think what an asset this organisation is.
It is operated by minimum staff and by willing volunteers.
