I REFER to the letter from Ms May Cheung (South China Morning Post, June 25), regarding a traffic light signal fault at the junction of Ting Kok Road and Nam Wan Road on June 19. The traffic light has been repaired and the whole signalised junction was restored to normal operation on June 20. We have a 24-hour hotline (333 3762) to receive reports on traffic signal failures. The public would help us tremendously by using this hotline. Once we know, we will despatch repair teams to attend to the fault as quickly as possible. This will minimiseinconvenience to the public.
