Girly-girls will go ga-ga over Maven, a new line of resort-friendly beach totes, evening bags and hand-painted sandals that look perfect with a pedicure and polish. Founded by Megan Duchowski, a former accessories editor at American Elle who moved to Hong Kong last year, the collection also includes spa slippers, cosmetic cases, travel sets and - coming soon - a selection of swimwear. 'I wanted to be able to reach out to the customer who is just as obsessed about going to spas and holiday resorts as I am, and is always looking for that perfect accessory to wear while she's there,' Duchowski explains. We're not sure what they'll make of them in Harlem, but Dunhill's new Globetrotter luggage range certainly holds court in the style capitals of the world. Made of lightweight canvas and durable leather in khaki or traditional orange, it includes everything from camera cases and compendia to satchels and wheeled touring cases. Also look out for lighters, photo frames and other accessories, which will be available in shops next month. Prices range from $3,430 to $6,760.
